The above blue hoopskirt. Why stop at 8 feet across when a whole bolt of that satin brocade was woven or even more. Lordie, I would want one at least 24 feet across. It would show so beautifully when I'm on my Harley. And I could use the freight entrance at the ballroom. Getting it over a chair if I needed to sit could be facilitated by having 2 boys present to lift the edge over the chair as I backed toward it. Dancing with some handsome dude could be accomplished with a trapdoor on the front immediately in front of the gown, ducking under or being lowered him into it.
