porncake interruptus...
...due to a freakish storm here in Pasadena last Thursday with winds up to 100 mph and over 400 downed trees, porncake has taken a back seat to branch clearing, leaf bagging and general overall clean-up as everything was blown from here to there and back again...several of our neighbors are without power still and as of this moment on Sunday late afternoon, the magical cable has blessedly returned...will attempt to return tomorrow as long as the cable is still functioning, thanks for the notes of concern at porncakes absence and all is well with us and hope the same for you...it just reminds one that just being happy to be here is a blessing unto itself, all best for all of you...Craig.

I saw photos in the New York Times of downtown Pasadena and all the destruction.

We had few real problems here in Studio City. We are glad you guys are fine. This is a good time for people to get a generator. We have always had one, it's good insurance.
Glad to hear things are returning to normal in Pasadena. Just over a month ago, here in New England, we had a very early nor'easter that left many parts of the region without power for days, so I can certainly sympathize. Good wishes to you.
