The Cedar Waxwings in the second to last picture are such gorgeous birds. I used to visit family in upstate New York in the winter. The Waxwings would be migrating though, and they loved the berries that had frozen and thawed on the bushes. The berries were naturally fermented. The waxwings would get drunk and flop around on the ground, unable to fly. Oh how the cat wanted to go out and get them, and couldn't.
