Hey! As a fellow appreciator of the art of bakery, I wonder what you think of the Cherpumple. The execution is woeful in every example I've seen, but I have to say it's an interesting idea. Do you think it can ever be made into a quality piece of pastry? It presents some interesting engineering challenges, especially as conceived by the inventor. (Placing the most collapsible pie, the apple, in the bottom layer seems especially inadvisable to me!) What do you think? Shall we make a Cocosimpkin or a Keylemana? (coconut, persimmon, pumpkin and Key Lime, lemon, banana) Can we pull beauty and good taste from the wreckage that is around us? Is there hope?
