The 2 young men dancing are from a series of photos Brassarai did in the 30s called "The Secret Life of Paris". The portfolio contains photos of streetwalkers, madames, johns, "Homosexuale Balles", same sex dance partners, lovers in cafes etc. I always liked the photo I am leaving a comment on; the young men are attractive, & are caught in a well composed pose. The people behind them appear to be more interested in the photographer than the dancers. Did you know that Brasserrai did not release the photos until 1973 [ca] in order to protect his subjects?
